AIMLINK was founded in 2026 by brothers Steven and David Thompson with a clear mission: fix a broken part of the machine learning development process.
As we worked with businesses adopting AI, we saw the same problem repeatedly. Companies often relied on highly paid software engineers to handle data labeling and data preparation, pulling them away from the work that creates the most value: building software and developing intelligent solutions. Others outsourced their data work to third-party vendors who frequently pushed projects offshore or prioritized the lowest-cost labor, often resulting in inconsistent quality, poor communication, weak change management, and costly delays. We knew there was a better way. With more than 15 years of experience leading complex projects, change initiatives, and operational transformations across financial services, transportation, and government sectors, we built AIMLINK to be a different kind of partner, one focused on transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
